ParishSOFT worked with St. Thomas a’Becket, a vibrant parish of about 4,000 families in Canton, Michigan, that struggled to manage extensive ministry activity, membership records, and growing communication needs with paper-based systems. The parish needed a way to centralize family records, streamline contributions, preserve historical archives, and expand its online presence to better serve parishioners and reach people beyond the local community.

By implementing ParishSOFT tools (including My Own Church, the Family Directory, Online Giving, and a revamped parish website), staff centralized records, moved many transactions and communications online, and archived photos and publications digitally. Results included significantly increased online giving (68 online offertory contributions totaling over $5,000 in one week), reduced paperwork and manual processing, higher website traffic and outreach, more accurate member data, and freed-up staff and clergy time to focus on ministry.
