ParishSOFT partnered with the Catholic Diocese of Sioux Falls to solve a recurring problem with the diocese’s annual appeal: manually consolidating parish registration lists and past-gift records for more than 36,000 households led to errors, duplicate mailings, letters sent to deceased parishioners, and strained parish–diocese relationships — all while demanding intensive staff time during crunch periods.

The diocese switched to a synchronized ParishSOFT/AIM approach so parish secretaries manage and update local records (including exclusion workgroups) that automatically sync to the central database, and Pledge Processing handles gifts. The result: 99.76% mailing accuracy (89 returns out of 36,637 mailed), measurable savings in postage and labor, improved processing, and greater confidence and collaboration across 153 parishes (88 of which now sync, representing ~85% of registered families).
