Globally successful Shopify sellers first to integrate with Parcelhub

Watermans, a fast-growing multichannel hair products retailer and Shopify merchant, needed to streamline fulfilment as online sales scaled—shipping over 500,000 bottles in 2016 and more than 1,000 items per day at peak. Prior to integration they relied on two staff to copy-and-paste customer addresses and manually produce labels, so Watermans sought a solution to centralise orders across Shopify, Amazon and marketplaces and speed up label production. Parcelhub was chosen as the vendor to address these challenges.

Parcelhub implemented a bespoke integration using the Parcelhub API and Parcelhub Web Despatch to link Watermans’ Shopify store, apply specific domestic and international shipping rules, and centralise marketplace orders. The result: label production reduced to a few clicks, orders and labels processed centrally without logging into each channel, and Parcelhub’s pooled-volume discounts delivered over 60% savings versus previous carriers. Parcelhub also provides proactive eCommerce customer service and has enabled Watermans to consistently handle peak volumes in excess of 1,000 items per day.
