A Parature Case Study
Teradici, a provider of PCoIP technology for virtual and cloud workspaces, sold its products through an indirect channel and lacked a way to directly engage end users to capture real-world use cases, emerging requirements, and growth opportunities. Although it had basic ticketing and partner support, the company needed a scalable, secure way to track customers and gather actionable data to inform product planning and business development.
Teradici implemented Microsoft Parature in 2010, launching a self-service portal and knowledge base within weeks and training 50 staff to manage tickets and workflows. The platform quickly scaled support, attracted more than 29,000 registrants, improved support productivity, generated new sales opportunities, and delivered strong financial results: an average annual benefit of about $740K, a cost:benefit ratio of 1:9.9, payback in ~1.5 months, and an overall ROI of 895%.
