A Parasoleil Case Study
Parasoleil partnered with Planet Word Museum, a new museum dedicated to language located in the historic Franklin School in Washington, D.C. The challenge was to create a decorative and safe fence for the museum's courtyard that provided both security and privacy while complementing an immersive art installation.
Parasoleil worked closely with the architect to develop a custom aluminum screen with a progressive tree branch pattern. This solution provided a denser pattern at the bottom for privacy that transitioned to a more open, airy design at the top, ensuring both safety and visibility. The result was a striking architectural element that met the structural and aesthetic goals for the museum's new space.
