City of Henderson creates a lasting Purple Heart memorial in downtown redevelopment with Parasoleil in September 2018

The City of Henderson partnered with the Military Order of the Purple Heart on a downtown redevelopment project. Their challenge was to create a lasting public space within the Water Street District to memorialize recipients of the Purple Heart Medal. For this project, they worked with vendor Parasoleil, utilizing their architectural aluminum panels.

Parasoleil designed and provided custom laser-cut shade and railing structures that incorporated the symbolism and official logo of the Purple Heart. The solution used Parasoleil's panels in Antique Gold and Burgundy finishes with Continental Flower and Geode patterns to create a profound and artistic memorial. The result is a durable and meaningful plaza that honors military heroes.
