Bison Ridge Recreation Center required architectural metal panels for both exterior shading and interior decorative cladding, including a custom railing. Their challenge was to incorporate a specific "rusted" Cor11 finish that would not rub off or stain adjacent materials, while also meeting building code requirements for the guardrail application. They partnered with Parasoleil to use their custom aluminum panels and PSO System hardware.

Parasoleil's solution involved close coordination with the contractor, including site visits and a full-scale mock-up of the intricate custom pattern to confirm manufacturability. They performed a finite element analysis to ensure the guardrail met code and developed custom trim for a clean aesthetic. The result was a seamless installation where the exterior awnings effectively manage solar gain and the interior panels serve as both decorative cladding and functional railings, achieving the project's design goals.
