The Arizona Biltmore Hotel, a historic property in Phoenix, faced the challenge of expanding its facility while honoring its original 1929 Frank Lloyd Wright-inspired aesthetic. The hotel's design committee needed a screening solution that would be both historically consistent and architecturally functional. They partnered with vendor Parasoleil to create custom architectural metal panels for use as cladding.

Parasoleil researched the hotel's iconic "Biltmore Block" designs to develop a consistent pattern, which was then fabricated in copper. A representative visited the site to document variations and guide the design. The solution involved mounting the panels directly to the window mullions, successfully creating a screening element that met the project's aesthetic and practical requirements. The custom panels from Parasoleil provided the hotel with a visually appropriate and structurally sound finish for the expansion.
