Wipro, a global IT services provider, enforces very high software quality standards—requiring projects to reach 80% code coverage—while managing rapid growth and diverse technology stacks. Maintaining consistent, rigorous code reviews across many simultaneous client projects became increasingly time-consuming and error-prone, so Wipro sought an automated, enterprise-wide solution to ensure faster, repeatable quality checks.

Wipro implemented Parasoft’s Development Testing Platform (first for Java, then C/C++ and .NET) to automate static analysis, unit testing and code-review enforcement across projects. The platform standardized best practices and cut the time to achieve required code coverage by about 25%; in one project it improved coverage across 27.4 KLOC, found and resolved 2,060 violations and auto-generated 1,191 tests, and in another case met coding‑standards goals in one‑third the manual effort.
