A Parasoft Case Study
VZVZ, the Dutch association that operates the LSP national exchange point for medical data, needed a robust, easy-to-scale acceptance environment to improve patient safety, broaden provider connectivity, and validate complex message exchanges without depending on other parties’ availability. The challenge was to create a certification-ready test environment that could handle increasing numbers of connected healthcare systems and evolving service definitions.
By adopting Parasoft’s continuous testing and service-virtualization tools, VZVZ implemented adaptable simulators that monitor LSP traffic, test smart-card (UZI) access, and emulate providers while accommodating new service versions. The result: VZVZ can certify new suppliers using the same strict tests without needing dependent systems, maintain high-quality structured information exchange, speed up national rollouts and testing, and scale testing across all connected systems for future initiatives.
