A Parasoft Case Study
Pforzheim University’s School of Engineering uses its Computer Engineering program to teach the software–hardware skills needed for modern microelectronic systems. The challenge was giving students practical, standards-driven C/C++ testing experience (MISRA, AUTOSAR, CERT) and ensuring code quality and compliance within limited lab time while preparing graduates for industry expectations.
The university deployed Parasoft C/C++test via virtual machines and Eclipse integration to provide static analysis, automated test generation, unit and state-based testing, and detailed reports. This gave students hands-on use of industry tools, automated personalized feedback (without automatic fixes so students learn corrections), reduced manual compliance effort, improved code quality, and stronger readiness for professional software development.
