MIMOS Berhad Expedites Testing and Maintains High Quality through Automation with Parasoft SOA Quality Solution

MIMOS Berhad, Malaysia’s strategic applied-research agency, tasked its Software Development and Central Engineering (SDCE) Testing Department with validating a new semantic search-engine enhancement developed by the Knowledge Technology lab. The project consisted of about five applications and 20 components, and a seven-person SOA testing team faced a strict five-month deadline; without automation they would have had to test each component manually, one at a time.

After evaluating tools, MIMOS deployed Parasoft SOA Quality Solution (two-week deployment and five days of training), citing its functionality, built‑in security testing, and strong support. The automated solution halved testing time, reduced the learning burden on testers, avoided extra hires, cut costs, and helped MIMOS maintain high-quality output.
