Leonardo Significantly Improves Software Quality With Modern Static Analysis Solution

Leonardo, a global systems integrator with about 4,200 employees and 50 years’ experience delivering homeland protection, defense, and air/sea traffic systems to clients in 150+ countries, wanted to eliminate defects earlier in the SDLC. Building on two decades of using Parasoft’s Insure++, they evaluated modern static analysis and selected Parasoft’s Development Testing Platform for C, C++ and Java for its accurate, easy-to-use flow analysis that identifies critical runtime defects without executing code.

Leonardo rapidly integrated Parasoft through a proof-of-concept and full deployment, which reduced downstream testing time, freed resources to address business priorities, and immediately increased software component stability. The initiative yielded measurable improvements in development cost, time, and resource efficiency, improved code stability, reuse, and maintainability, added automation and verification visibility, and led partners and subsuppliers to adopt the same tools.
