A Parasoft Case Study
Jack Henry & Associates, a technology provider for the financial industry, was building a new SOA-based platform called jXchange and needed reliable functional, performance, load and stress testing for its Web services. Facing the choice of building an in-house testing client or buying a tool, the team wanted a comprehensive solution that wouldn’t divert developers from product work and could keep pace with emerging Web services standards.
They adopted Parasoft SOAtest to run scripted test scenarios with SQL-stored test data and regression controls, allowing QA to validate responses, reuse tests for future regressions, and capture results for traceability. Parasoft stayed current with standards, saved the team “a couple hundred hours” over a year, led to expanded licensing and wider adoption across products, and freed developers to focus on delivering higher-quality software.
