By adopting Parasoft’s API Testing solution and applying “extreme automation,” the team automated complex test construction, execution, and validation, integrating results into HP ALM and developers’ Eclipse workflow. In the same three-day window that once ran ~500 manual tests, they now run ~3,500 tests (adding 400–1,000 per release), with 5,000+ automated validations and nearly 100% regression coverage; escaped defects have fallen about 60–70%.
