Aerospace/Defense Company Deploys Parasoft to Support DevSecOps for Major DoD Initiative

Parasoft partnered with a U.S. Department of Defense contractor supporting a major, long-running aerospace and defense initiative that was shifting toward DevOps and DevSecOps. The program’s size and complexity — multiple vendors, strict safety and compliance requirements (JSF, DO-178), and legacy testing tools lacking automation — created risks for quality, security, traceability, and sustainment as the project moved from new development to long-term maintenance.

Parasoft implemented automated static code analysis and its C/C++test suite for unit testing, requirements traceability, and assembly-level coverage, with security-focused checkers that integrate into the same workflows. By embedding testing and actionable feedback into the pipeline (and planning a secure, containerized DevSecOps environment), the contractor gained continuous, traceable quality and security data, faster defect detection, and standardized testing across contributors — reducing risk, cost, and time to compliance.
