Spedition Barth GmbH finds a streamlined publishing solution with Parallels RAS

Spedition Barth GmbH, a medium-sized forwarding and logistics company with more than 600 employees, needed a cost-effective application and desktop publishing solution to keep staff productive from any location. After struggling with the complexity, support needs, and high price of Citrix Virtual Apps, the company turned to Parallels RAS.

Parallels implemented Parallels RAS to publish around 50 applications and provide remote access to internal systems across Windows, macOS, Android, and iOS devices. The result was lower total cost of ownership, faster and simpler maintenance, improved performance and ease of use, better security controls, and reduced dependence on external IT support—at roughly half the cost of the previous Citrix solution.
