Port of Antwerp replaces Citrix with Parallels Secure Workspace

Port of Antwerp needed a simpler, more secure alternative to Citrix for remote access to applications and documents for its administrative and field staff. The port authority found Citrix overly complex and costly for its relatively small user base, and it also needed capabilities like HTML5 access, multi-monitor support, and True SSO. Parallels Secure Workspace was evaluated as the vendor’s digital workplace solution.

Parallels Secure Workspace replaced Citrix and passed extensive security testing, integrating seamlessly with Port of Antwerp’s external IDP and built-in SSO. The new setup enabled secure access from any device, improved usability, and supported high-data applications that performed poorly over VPN. As a result, Port of Antwerp gained a simpler management model and more time for other innovation projects, while giving users safer, easier access to apps and files.
