Platform Housing Group, one of the largest housing associations in the UK Midlands, needed to simplify and unify its IT environment after a merger. The team had been using Microsoft RDS and Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, but found the setup costly and overly complex to maintain, so they looked for a simpler, more affordable alternative from Parallels.

With Parallels, Platform Housing Group improved user experience, reduced troubleshooting, and cut its server footprint from more than 50 servers to 20, while also lowering licensing, support, and management costs.
