Martin’s Properties Picks Parallels Remote Application Server Over Citrix

Martin’s Properties (Chelsea) Limited, a long-established UK property developer and asset manager based in Chelsea, needed reliable remote access to business applications. Their existing Citrix Access Essentials deployment worked functionally but was difficult to upgrade and manage, couldn’t support some newer applications, and adding a full Citrix replacement was deemed too complex and costly.

They replaced Citrix with Parallels Remote Application Server, publishing Microsoft Office, the intranet and line-of-business apps via RDS, a web portal and HTML5 gateway on VMware for about 20 concurrent users. The new solution simplified configuration and upgrades, enabled publishing of newer applications, reduced operational overhead and costs, and provided better support and future-proofing.
