Lush Fresh Handmade Cosmetics - Customer Case Study

Lush Handmade Cosmetics, founded in 1995, is a retailer of fresh, natural hair and skin products with 210 stores in North America. With more than 250 concurrent users needing access to corporate resources, the company faced high virtualization licensing costs using Citrix and sought a simpler, cost-effective way to consolidate and manage IT across its shops.

Lush deployed Parallels Remote Application Server to publish applications (including Microsoft Office and custom ERP) from a centralized infrastructure to 250 concurrent users, gaining device- and OS-independent access. The switch significantly reduced licensing costs, simplified deployment and management, and delivered Citrix-like features (auto-configured load balancing and universal printing) that improved ROI and stabilized the network.
