Large US Water District leverages Parallels Secure Workspace for urgent teleworking deployment

The Large US Water District needed a fast, secure way to enable teleworking for all employees when COVID-19 hit, especially since 75% of staff did not have company laptops and its existing VPN lacked two-factor authentication. As a long-time Parallels Secure Workspace customer, the district turned to Parallels to support remote access for employees using their own devices.

Parallels Secure Workspace was scaled up in just two days and connected to 30 cloud services, remote applications, file servers, and office desktops. The rollout ran smoothly, with about 80% of staff able to connect remotely, and was later expanded to contractors; the district also gained built-in MFA, usage auditing, and granular security controls.
