Kingdom Housing adopts Parallels Secure Workspace for digital transformation

Kingdom Housing Association, a social landlord in Scotland, needed a simpler, more flexible digital workplace and secure remote access to its legacy housing and finance applications after moving to a cloud-first, mobile-first strategy. Its existing Citrix-based setup had become too complex and costly, especially for a small digital team.

Parallels Secure Workspace was implemented to deliver browser-based access to legacy apps and desktops through HTML5, integrated with Google Identity and Google Cloud Platform. The result was a major simplification of operations, a reduction from 18 virtual machines to five, lower license and support costs, and faster login and better system responsiveness for users.
