A Parallels Case Study
Group Engineering Automotive (GEA) was looking for a low-complexity virtualization solution to support a growing remote workforce and provide access to virtual desktops and applications from anywhere. After challenges with Microsoft Remote Desktop Services, GEA turned to Parallels RAS to simplify management and improve support for its expanding IT environment.
Parallels implemented Parallels RAS to give GEA a central console, easier application delivery, remote assistance, and user management, while supporting devices such as PCs, Macs, smartphones, and tablets. The result was lower total cost of ownership, extended hardware lifecycle, stronger security through multifactor authentication, and the ability for employees to work from any device, helping improve overall IT operations.
