Godiva Chocolatier, a global premium chocolate brand with over 600 boutiques in 100+ countries, faced a time-consuming IT challenge: updating and maintaining applications locally on each desktop. The company needed an inexpensive way to simplify management and reduce the overhead of manual installations across its sites.

Godiva deployed Parallels Remote Application Server (used alongside Windows RDS) to publish applications centrally from its Belgian production site to about 250 virtual desktops with ~50 concurrent users. Using features like server load balancing and application publishing, IT can update a single server and push changes to all users, secure access across devices, reduce costs (about one-third the price of major competitors), and consolidate management in a single dashboard—delivering faster updates, saved time, and improved ROI.
