Farmers & Merchants Bank reduces latency and boosts security with Parallels RAS

Farmers & Merchants Bank needed a better way to handle latency, secure remote access, and a hybrid mix of Chromebooks, Windows BYOD, and Macs across multiple data centers. The bank also wanted tighter control for third-party auditors and consultants, and it turned to Parallels RAS to replace the limitations and security concerns of legacy VPN and VDI approaches.

Parallels RAS was deployed to integrate with SSO, improve load balancing, and simplify application and desktop delivery. After testing with about 20 users, the solution scaled to more than 200 users and became core to the bank’s IT environment, delivering smoother onboarding, eliminating VPN installs, reducing manual intervention, and cutting costs and time tied to security agents, Windows licensing, and hardware.
