Eurocontrol's transition from Citrix to Parallels RAS a catalyst for cost savings and business growth

Eurocontrol, part of the Apave Group, needed to virtualize and modernize its centralized systems after the 2020 acquisition, while moving away from an older Citrix Presentation Server environment. The company evaluated Parallels RAS as a Citrix-type remote application solution to support its Navision-based workflows and growing user needs across Spain and beyond.

Parallels implemented Parallels RAS for Eurocontrol with a gradual rollout from 15 users to full deployment, alongside support for custom tools and remote access. Eurocontrol reported an easy installation and configuration, more affordable licenses, smoother remote work during the pandemic, and lower hardware requirements, all contributing to clear cost and time savings.
