Bruxelles-Propreté, Agence Régionale Uses Parallels RAS to Run Graphic-Intensive Applications Efficiently and Cost-Effectively

Bruxelles-Propreté, the Belgian government agency responsible for cleaning and waste management in Brussels, needed a secure, streamlined way to deliver full virtual desktops and access to complex, graphics-intensive internal applications for remote and hybrid workers. The organization also had to support multiple in-house tools, including Geosupport, which relies on high-resolution mapping and strong processing power, and it turned to Parallels RAS to help provide that access across Windows and Android clients.

Parallels implemented Parallels RAS so Bruxelles-Propreté could publish full virtual desktops and applications without scripting, simplifying remote infrastructure management. The result was major IT time savings—described as equivalent to several months—and a much easier setup for a small IT team, while still supporting around 700 users and keeping essential city services running smoothly.
