Charleys, a growing casual‑dining brand aiming for 1,000 units, faced outdated, disparate technology across online ordering, mobile ordering, digital guest engagement and back‑of‑house systems that threatened consistent guest experience and scalable growth. After evaluating POS options, Charleys selected PAR POS’s cloud‑based POS platform to provide the functionality, reliability and lower total cost of ownership needed to standardize and scale the brand.

PAR POS implemented a standardized, cloud POS rollout across Charleys’ concepts, enabling mobile and online ordering, improved guest engagement and back‑of‑house enterprise capabilities while supporting franchisee refinements. The deployment resulted in more than 200 Charleys locations live on PAR POS with full rollout planned by the end of 2019; PAR POS also implemented a sister‑brand menu in under two weeks at under 5% of the cost of the first‑choice vendor, accelerating Charleys’ path to profitable online ordering and broader expansion.
