BurgerFuel, a gourmet burger chain founded in Auckland, faced growing pains after rapid expansion following its 2007 IPO and needed a centrally managed POS that could support worldwide operations and streamline antiquated processes (like annual menu-skin reprints). To meet those needs they selected vendor PAR POS and its PixelPoint Enterprise POS solution to provide a scalable, centrally configurable system with local reseller support and loyalty/automation capabilities.

PAR POS implemented PixelPoint Enterprise (customized to integrate EFT with Payment Express) on ES7200 hardware and deployed centralized WebView reporting and online-ordering integration. The PAR POS rollout now runs in 83 BurgerFuel stores across New Zealand, Australia, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Egypt and Iraq, delivering faster, near real-time decision-making, single-point updates across all locations, improved staff and customer service, and reduced operational overhead.
