Weyline Taxis, the biggest taxi operator in England’s busy towns like Weymouth and Portland, needed a better way to manage staff scheduling and time tracking across six offices with 24/7 administration coverage. With more than 90 vehicles in operation, they had to assign the right number of shifts per week, ensure every office was covered at every shift, allow staff to work across multiple locations, and keep accurate records of hours and timesheets.

Using Papershift, Weyline Taxis created shift templates for all six offices, set required staffing levels for each shift, and could immediately spot understaffed shifts. Papershift also automatically generated digital timesheets from completed shifts, supported overtime edits and payroll exports, and let employees view assignments and request holidays in the mobile app. The result was a simpler planning process with clear visibility of planned hours per employee and per office, helping Weyline Taxis manage scheduling and time tracking more efficiently.
