Local Bakery BrotZeit is a traditional, sustainability-focused bakery with three locations that needed a better way to manage employee time tracking and shift planning. Before Papershift, working hours were recorded by hand on timesheets and then transferred into Excel, making the process slow and inaccurate for hourly employees who had to comply with legal requirements such as minimum wages and break times.

Papershift implemented its Time Clock app on tablets in each store and also provided online rota planning for workforce scheduling. With Papershift, BrotZeit now has faster, more automated planning, clearer oversight of hours and breaks, alerts when employees exceed contracted hours, and easier access to time records from any device. The system has simplified daily operations and helped the bakery focus more on its core craft.
