A Paperless Parts Case Study
Hirsh Precision Products, a precision machining company founded in 1979, was looking for a faster, more efficient way to handle quoting. Its legacy process relied on paper prints, manila folders, and highly detailed front-end work, making each quote take anywhere from two to eight hours and limiting how quickly the team could respond to RFQs.
Paperless Parts implemented its quoting platform, Paperless Quoting, using Hirsh’s legacy data and cycle times to streamline the workflow. The result was a reduction of 3.75 hours per quote on average and more than 2,000 hours saved in 2020, while also improving customer service with digital quotes, easier follow-ups, and better access to shared data.
