A PaperCut Case Study
Southeast Health, a not-for-profit community health system, faced significant challenges managing its large, mixed fleet of printers from various vendors. This led to unmanageable tracking and inventory issues, as well as high waste and maintenance costs. To solve this, they engaged with vendor PaperCut as part of a solution implemented by Xerox.
The solution involved deploying a centralized fleet of multi-function printers with PaperCut's embedded software, utilizing features like Find-Me and Print Release. This provided PaperCut with a manageable printing infrastructure that resulted in cost savings of under $70,000, drastically improved security for patient healthcare information, and allowed for a standardized, reduced number of devices.
