A PaperCut Case Study
Catholic Education Western Australia (CEWA), a state-wide system of 156 faith-based schools and facilities, faced a fragmented print environment that was difficult to manage across its many locations. Their previous print management platform was complex and created administrative overhead, preventing a unified and efficient system for their 12,000 staff and 83,000 students. They turned to vendor PaperCut for a fresh start.
PaperCut implemented its MF solution to create a centralized and secure print management system. This allowed CEWA's head office to manage the entire fleet from a single location while delegating access to individual school IT staff. The results were significant, with over 23 million print jobs processed. PaperCut provided substantial cost savings, offered equity of resources to all schools regardless of size, and unlocked new efficiencies through detailed reporting and a scalable, serverless architecture.
