Global Gamemaker, a global media, entertainment, and gaming company, needed a better way to support design and production teams spread across continents. Their existing Windows file storage and replication setup made sharing large files slow, with updates taking up to 24 hours to reach other regions, creating collaboration and deadline challenges. Panzura CloudFS and Panzura Data Services were used to modernize their file storage and sharing environment.

Panzura implemented a globally available file system with a single authoritative data source, global namespace, and distributed file locking so teams could work on the same “golden” copy of files without version conflicts. As a result, file updates became visible in real time, teams could collaborate more efficiently across locations, and IT gained the ability to search, audit, and monitor files from one dashboard in seconds, reducing time spent on file management and helping accelerate project delivery.
