A Pantheon Case Study

White Fuse Builds Better Sites for Nonprofits with Pantheon’s Cloud-Based Development Tools

White Fuse is a small digital agency that builds affordable, personalized websites exclusively for nonprofits. Growth was hampered by an ad-hoc development workflow and shared hosting: developers maintained local dev boxes and manually pushed changes to live, leading to configuration mismatches, slow launches, and about 150 hours per quarter spent on security updates and infrastructure.

Moving development and hosting to Pantheon gave White Fuse cloud-based test environments, Git-based deployment, and reseller pricing, enabling a standardized platform and faster launches. The team now batches updates, cuts update time from 150 to ~30 hours per quarter (about an 80% reduction), operates with roughly half the previous manpower, and can scale more easily while planning a shared Drupal codebase for future growth.
