Science Friday is a nonprofit public radio program serving nearly two million listeners each week that wanted to modernize its web presence. Running on a proprietary CMS and aging hosting caused slow performance, limited analytics and testing, and surprise costs during traffic spikes, so the team set out to rebuild the site on a more flexible, future‑proof platform.
Working with Bluecadet, Science Friday rebuilt on WordPress and launched on Pantheon for scalable hosting and hands‑on support. The result: faster, more reliable performance, smoother launches, better analytics and workflow, a monthly traffic uptick, and the confidence and capacity to grow.
