Torq, a SecOps and security automation company, needed a better way to manage third-party security as it scaled to 120+ vendors. Its manual, spreadsheet- and email-based process made it hard to track vendor onboarding, subscriptions, due dates, offboarding, and compliance, creating visibility gaps and operational bottlenecks. Torq turned to Panorays and its API-driven third-party risk management capabilities to modernize the workflow.

Using Panorays, Torq built automated vendor onboarding and smart vendor monitoring processes integrated with Slack and its existing tech stack. The solution enabled continuous vendor risk assessments, real-time inventory, automated questionnaires, daily “keep alive” checks, and compliance notifications for legal teams. The result was a scalable, hyperautomated third-party security program that shifted Torq from manual catch-up to proactive security leadership.
