The Key to Delivering Dynamic Student Support in Groton Central School District

Groton Central School District (NY) faced rising social-emotional and developmental needs among students and needed a way to address the “whole child” while strengthening connections among students, teachers, families, and the community. Over the last year Groton partnered with Panorama Education, using Panorama Student Success and the Social-Emotional Learning Survey to capture real‑time data across academics, attendance, behavior, and SEL so educators could quickly understand student progress despite limited teacher time.

Panorama Education integrated quarterly SEL surveys with academic, behavior, and attendance data (including feeds from SchoolTool) to give teachers and leaders a single, actionable view of each student. With data available “in three clicks or less,” Groton established a culture of data inquiry and targeted interventions—allowing teams to tailor instruction, address areas like low grit, and deliver dynamic supports that have improved student learning across multiple dimensions in a 900‑student, 47% Title I district.
