North Colonie Central Schools serves 6,200 students with Panorama Solara

North Colonie Central Schools, a district in New York, faced challenges with inconsistent instructional practices and student support across its classrooms. Scaling professional development was difficult, and their Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) lacked consistent, data-driven implementation. The district turned to the vendor Panorama Education and its product, Panorama Solara, to address these issues.

Panorama provided its Solara platform to help the district co-create standardized lesson templates and embed consistent instructional components, particularly for longer class blocks. This solution gave teachers a shared, data-driven foundation for planning, promoting what the district calls "bounded autonomy." As a result, Panorama is helping North Colonie build a more cohesive and asset-based MTSS, increase instructional consistency across roles, and scale best practices without relying solely on in-person training, thereby improving overall teaching capacity and student support.
