Case Study: Mehlville School District improves MTSS decision-making with Panorama Education

Mehlville Partners With Panorama for MTSS & Special Ed

Mehlville School District, which serves over 10,000 students in 18 schools in south St. Louis County, was working to implement district-wide MTSS and needed a tool that could bring together academic and well-being data and track intervention progress across Tiers 1, 2, and 3. The district also needed to make sure its MTSS work supported all students, including those receiving special education services through Special School District.

Mehlville partnered with Panorama Education in 2018 for surveys and later expanded to Panorama Student Success to support MTSS implementation. With Panorama, staff gained a central place to review student data, identify students needing support, and use teacher survey feedback to guide training and resources. Leaders said the platform improved efficiency, shifted meeting time from gathering data to problem-solving, and helped build teacher confidence, which they reported was followed by higher student engagement and an overall increase in achievement.
