Hueneme Elementary School District’s MTSS Success: 4% Math and 3% ELA Gains

Hueneme Elementary School District, a TK-8 district in Port Hueneme, CA, needed a more structured and streamlined MTSS process to support all students. District leaders also wanted actionable whole-child data and a clearer system to replace siloed information and strengthen MTSS work beyond a special education-focused approach. With Panorama Education, Hueneme integrated attendance, behavior, academics, and aimswebPlus data into one system and used a SMART goal process to drive follow-through between MTSS meetings. The district also worked with Panorama Education consultants to support school-site leadership teams and align interventions. Hueneme reported a 4% gain in math and a 3% gain in ELA across multiple grade levels, along with stronger MTSS leadership teams and improved use of data to guide student support.
