How Ogden High Increased the Graduation Rate to 95%—and Helped 80 More Students Feel a Sense of Belonging

Ogden School District, serving 11,500 students across 20 schools in Utah, set out to strengthen its district-wide MTSS to improve graduation rates, literacy, and students’ overall well-being. One high school in the district had been working to raise graduation outcomes while also addressing barriers such as attendance, behavior, and students’ sense of belonging.

With Panorama Education and Panorama Student Success, Ogden School District built a system to track MTSS data, monitor interventions, and make faster decisions about student supports. Ogden High School increased its graduation rate from 76 percent to 95 percent, and after using Panorama survey data to guide 2x10 relationship-building, the school helped 80 more students feel a sense of belonging, with an increase of over 6 percent in students who felt connected to adults.
