How Jefferson City Achieves Reading Success Goals

Jefferson City School District, a district of 8,683 students and 18 schools in Jefferson City, Missouri, needed a way to meet Missouri Senate Bill 681’s Reading Success Plan requirements. After the law passed, district leaders had to streamline and consolidate literacy data, develop growth targets, monitor progress, keep families updated, and report on supports and assessments for students with substantial reading deficiencies or at risk of dyslexia.

The district turned to Panorama Education’s Panorama Student Success to gather baseline data, identify students needing RSPs, track progress, and communicate with families. Panorama Education has helped Jefferson City School District meet the law’s requirements, and the district currently has 1,158 active RSPs, with 73% up-to-date and 55% already meeting their goals.
