How Feedback Surveys Helped One District Significantly Improve Communication With the Community

La Cañada Unified School District, a high-performing district north of Los Angeles, wanted better communication with its community. Five years ago, the community and Board of Education were asking for more data, more communications, and greater transparency, so the district turned to Panorama Education and its feedback surveys.

Panorama Education helped LCUSD collect survey feedback from families, staff, and students and share the results with teachers, administrators, the Board of Education, and the community. The district says the work has helped improve communication and transparency, with 85% of the community reporting satisfaction with communication, over 90% of parents of students in grades 7-12 saying they would recommend LCUSD to other families, and 90% of parents of elementary students saying the campuses provide a supportive environment.
