How Everett Schools Boosted Graduation Rate from 62% to 95%

Everett Public Schools in Washington set out to address a serious graduation problem in the early 2000s. In 2005, the district’s graduation rate was 62%, well below the Washington state average, and leaders wanted a better way to understand why students were leaving and how to support them.

With Panorama Education and its Student Success platform, Everett shifted from tracking numbers to focusing on individual students, their stories, and their needs. The district used Panorama surveys and visualization tools to monitor student supports, build individual plans, and measure life skills work; as a result, Everett moved from a 62% graduation rate in 2005 to 90% in 2015, and later reached a 95.9% on-time graduation rate.
