How Desert Sands Unified School District Uses Panorama Surveys to Support LCAP

Desert Sands Unified School District serves 28,000 students in La Quinta, California, and wanted to gather high-quality stakeholder perception data for its LCAP process. The district needed students, staff, families, and community members to believe in the survey process and share their voices, so it used Panorama Education surveys to support that effort.

Desert Sands Unified School District created a short video to promote its LCAP survey and explain how it uses Panorama survey data. With Panorama Education, district and school leaders said the data helps guide strategic planning, support school climate and culture work, and inform district-wide support by disaggregating results for student groups such as English learners and students with disabilities.
