ROCKWOOL, a Danish stone wool manufacturer with 11,600 employees across 39 countries, faced the risk of losing deep, hard‑won manufacturing knowledge as long‑serving engineers approached retirement. Their processes are highly complex, training takes years, and existing documentation was insufficient, so the company needed a way to capture and illustrate expert know‑how for future employees.

ROCKWOOL implemented Panopto to record courses, expert interviews and multi‑camera maintenance sessions, integrating videos with their LMS (FUSE) and Microsoft Teams via SSO. The searchable VCMS (ASR/OCR in 20 languages), subtitles and multi‑input recordings made knowledge easily discoverable and reusable worldwide — accelerating onboarding, preserving critical expertise, supporting remote training, and driving rapid, organic adoption across the organization.
