Coventry Building Society, the U.K.’s second-largest building society with around 3,000 colleagues, needed a way to introduce a new CEO and share timely company updates during the COVID-19 pandemic. Their in-house video system was hard to use and couldn’t securely scale across branch locations with varying internet quality, so they sought a secure, user-friendly video management solution.

CBS implemented Panopto’s secure cloud VCMS to record, edit, caption and organize video content with a simple UX and strong security. The change enabled on-demand distribution to the whole workforce (e.g., Coventry Conversations had hundreds live plus ~2,500 catch-up viewers), delivered analytics that improved engagement and content length, and added automated captions/SRT downloads to boost accessibility and administrative efficiency.
